Horse Arena Rubber Footing

Rubber chips provide a modern, cushioned surface in your arena to relieve stress on horse joints. Spreading a layer of rubber chips on your arena surface improves drainage, performance, comfort, compaction, and reduces fatigue.

Sand Footing

We use masonry sand in all indoor arenas, it is a fine grit and softer sand. We use a concrete sand on all outdoor arenas which is slightly more course and more resistant to wind loss. All our sand is cleaned and washed from the pit. Proper footing on your arena surface improves drainage, performance, comfort, compaction, and reduces fatigue.

Felt Footing

Felt footing is shredded strips of felt blended with the sand footing.

Felt resists compaction and reduces dust. Felt footing can be used on indoor or outdoor arenas, but as with all outdoor arenas weather conditions will contribute to loss of the footing. Proper footing on your arena surface improves drainage, performance, comfort, compaction, and reduces fatigue.
